The newest member to the FLEETWATCH® network, Smart Refinishers of Aberdeen, are delighted to be part of the UK’s premier commercial vehicle paint and repair network. Evan Smart, the proprietor, sees the FleetWatch partnership as a major bonus to his business.
In 1979, Evan began working for Clark Commercials and 14 years on had the opportunity to take over the business and in doing so renamed the business ‘Smart Refinishers’. Since taking on the business Evan set about making the business one to be proud off and to ultimately provide the local area with a service that is second to none.
Today Smart Refinishers cater for passenger cars as well as light and heavy commercials. Their investments over the years ensure that virtually any repair required can be done on site. Evan’s team of 28 skilled staff assure that the quality of repair and paint is a match for anyone within the industry.
Smart Refinishers have invested heavily in equipment, varied repair techniques and staff training to ensure customers receive an efficient and high quality service every time they visit.
Reflecting on where the business is now and looking strategically towards the future, Evan has clear plans. When speaking directly to Evan he said; “We are looking towards increasing the internet sales market, we have seen some serious growth and with the ever changing industry we want to set ourselves at the forefront of the market. With that in mind the higher number of light commercial vans being registered to market and the increased mileage activity can only result in a greater incident rate for which this industry will benefit.”
Evan then added “being part of the FleetWatch network is another accreditation to the quality of our work and it ensures we are on the same playing field as other quality repairers. I believe that being part of the FleetWatch membership creates more openings for opportunities within my business.”
